The American born, Berlin based artist Simonne Jones balances the line between Avant Garde experimentation and bold, catchy pop. As she says herself, “I make pop music because I don’t know what else to call it, except it’s not really pop- it’s a little bit weird”. She isn’t wrong, and electro-pop sensibilities combine with rustling synths, edgy vocal lines and unexpected sound effects. The video that accompanies the tune is far from ordinary as well, depicting destructive scenes alongside the titular ‘Psycho Pretty Boy’.
